About ECWATECH 2020:
ECWATECH 2020 will be Russia’s most successful and largest industry event in water treatment and large leading event in the collection of water treatment and waste water treatment in eastern Europe. Founded in 1994, it has been held in Moscow biannually for 13 successful sessions. It is a large water treatment event certificated by Union of International Fairs (UFI) and is the best show to develop water treatment market in Russia. Known as the second largest water show in Europe next to Aquatech Amsterdam, this exhibition is also the only professional water show in CIS countries.
ECWATECH 2020 Business Prospects:
Russia’s water treatment market has huge potential! Russian government attaches great importance to the protection and usage of water resources and has set a strategic goal with a 5-10 year transition period. Russia’s economy has been growing at a high speed since 1999. At present, its annual GDP growth rate is still above 7%, listed among the BRICS countries along with China, India, South Africa and Brazil. The Sino-Russian trade industry has maintained double-digit growth for several years in a row. According to the Russian statistical report, China became Russia’s largest trading partner at the beginning of 2009 and Chinese products are very popular in Russia. The exhibition area of ECWATECH 2018 reached 20,308 square meters. A total of 11,059 professional visitors came, including 533 visitors from outside Russia. All the Chinese enterprises (106) participating in ECWATECH 2018 have achieved good results. There were more than 16,168 visitors (96% of the visitors are professionals) and 823 exhibitors from 31 countries around the world. Two-thirds of the visitors had strong purchasing power.
