About the Exhibition:

Russian solid waste and pipeline exhibition is jointly held by the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and the Russian Federation Water Resources Association. The exhibition has been held every two years since its establishment in 1999. It has quickly become the most professional exhibition in Russia as well as the most international exhibition in the field of environmental protection in Russia and the CIS countries.

Solid waste and bulky garbage collection and transportation is one of the largest part of Russian market management of solid waste, accounting for about 56% of the market value. The growth of service rate for solid waste and bulky garbage collection and transportaion and the increase of the discharge of solid waste, will create a premise for the continuing expension of the market. Although the solid waste collection and transportation market is the most developed sector of Russian solid waste market management, it still lags far behind western countries in technology. Most of the specialized technical equipment for solid waste collection and clearance used in Russia does not meet European standards. In addition, the wear degree of garbage collection vehicles in Russia is over 70% on average, and even reaches 90% in some regions. As a result, the financial indicators of solid waste collection and transportation companies are greatly reduced, and the ecological situation is adversely affected. Moreover, most solid waste collection sites in Russia do not meet ecological standards, and sometimes there are no solid waste collection sites at all in individual regions.

The last exhibition covered an area of 6,000 square meters, with 315 enterprises from 23 countries participating. The three-day exhibition attracted nearly 7,000 professional visitors of which 80% are willing to buy.
