Exhibition Introduction:
Water Management Show is the most influential professional water show in Bangladesh. The exhibition is organized by SAVOR International Limited in Bangladesh, which holds many professional exhibitions on various themes in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal and other countries every year. Water Management Show is held annually and has been successfully held for many years. At the same time, the exhibition will focus on new energy and environmental protection. The exhibition has received official support from the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Water Resources and Ministry of Agriculture.
The exhibition will bring together a group of companies and government organizations that will invest in water projects no matter large or small in domestic agriculture and industry, so you have a lot of opportunities to showcase your products. In addition, you can clearly understand the industry trends in order to improve your business prospects, building potential databases and generating sales guiding. International exhibitors can grab the Bangladeshi water market by having distributors and agents in Bangladesh and obtain opportunities to interact with industry leaders, decision makers and audiences.
Bangladesh has serious water management problem, which is mainly reflected in the conflict between the increasing demand for water and the diversification of water utilization. Irrigation of crops and aquaculture have led to increased demand for water in agriculture. Clean water is in short supply because of insufficient water flow from the Ganges river, chemical pollution, saline intrusion in coastal areas and arsenic contamination. Moreover, the availability of fresh water is seasonal, depending largely on rainfall in the wet season. The annual cycle of floods and droughts profoundly affects the state of rivers. The surface water used by 90% people is also contaminated with arsenic. According to the WHO, the extent of arsenic contamination is largely due to historically high levels of chemical contamination and arsenic contamination affects 30 to 35 million bangladeshis. Arsenic pollution has killed one-fifth of Bangladesh population.
Bangladesh is located in South Asia, adjacent to Myanmar, India and other countries, with a land area of 147,500 square kilometers. Bangladesh has the highest population density in the world with 160 million people and is one of the least developed countries in the world. Bangladesh is gradually moving towards industrialization despite the fact of weak industry, less developed manufacturing and dependence on import products. The political stability and open policy enables the country to provide many policies for foreign companies such as ‘corporate profits are allowed to remit to home country in full amount’, ‘freedom of foreign exchange remitted into and out’, ‘permission of the import and export license in 24 hours’ and so on. These policies make Bangladesh one of the most potential countries for those Chinese companies looking for business opportunities and consumer market overseas. According to the General Administration of Customs of China, the bilateral trade volume was 7.059 billion US dollars in 2010, increased by 54% on year-on-year basis. Due to the high quality and reasonable price of Chinese goods, Bangladesh market is full of goods coming from China. According to the statistics of Bangladesh, the trade between China and Bangladesh has been growing rapidly. Bangladesh has imported a large amount of textile, chemical, machinery, daily necessities and other materials from China.
