Exhibition Introduction:
Indowater is Indonesia’s largest, most comprehensive international water sewage treatment and now the exhibition is holding once a year as a traveling exhibition in Jakarta and surabaya from biennial session. Indowater 2019 in Jakarta has been receiving strongly support from Indonesian Ministry of Public Construction, Environment Ministry, Industry Ministry, Trade Ministry, Indonesian Water Industry Association and Indonesian Exhibition Association. The exhibition is expected to bring together 550 exhibitors from 33 countries and more than 9,000 professional visitors and industry buyers to discuss the latest water and sewage treatment technologies.
Indowater mainly focuses on water management and water & wastewater treatment technologies. The Indowater2019 will boost the development of the water and sewage industry and promote international exchanges and cooperation to solve water and waste water problem in Indonisia by displaying the latest products and technologie. Every time when the show in Jakarta takes place, booths are always in short supply. Last Indowater in Jakarta: exhibition area was nearly 11,000 square meters. The number of exhibitors is 410 from 32 countries. The national exhibitor groups were from: China, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and so on. The number of Chinese exhibitors has reached a record high, with nearly 130 enterprises participating, accounting for 30%. The majority of Chinese exhibitors were from pump and valve industry. Continuous exhibitors: more than 20 domestic well-known valve companies, including: North High Valve, Tianjin Watt Valve, Tonglu Yongxin Valve, Sanlixin Solenoid Valve, Yuanda Valve, Shandong Zhongli High-Pressure Valve and so on; more than 10 pump enterprises: Nanfang Pump, Frog Pump, Ligao Pump, Dayuan Pump, Pulens Pump, Shanghai Liansheng; 8 instrument enterprises, including: Jiangbei Water Meter, Yuyao Yuanda Flow Meter, No. 4 Instrument Factory, Heli Automatic Meter, Kailiu Meter, Tianjin Xuner Meter; more than 10 chemical enterprises and many other membrane enterprises, participated in the exhibition, such as Yixing Lanbo, Yixing Qingtai, Anhui Jucheng Chemical, Tianrun Chemical, Zibo Zhisheng, Zhengzhou Dake Water, Jiaozuo Yuanbo Environmental Protection.

Market Overview:
Population growth and other factors have contributed to water shortages in some parts of the country. According to statistics, domestic demand for drinking water will increase by 220% from 1990 to 2020. Demand for water is increasing in urban and suburban areas. Only 39% of the urban population has access to clean water, which only accounts for 18% of Indonesia’s whole population. To meet the government’s goal of making clean water available to 69% of the population, Indonesia needs to invest $4.5 billion over the next decade to improve the country’s indigenous water treatment technology and level of water utilization.
