LANKAWATER’17 will be held by AMB, which has held many professional water show in Indonesia, Burma, Kampuchea and other countries with a good reputation in South-east. As Sri Lanka’s outstanding international water and wastewater industry exhibition, the show will be held on 16th -18th, 2017. The exhibition will provide a B2B platform for new technology and innovative ideas, developing new cooperative intentions, establishing partnerships and networks. The participants includes government officials, municipal water and sanitation companies, manufacturers, developers, consultants, engineers, distributors and main decision makers.
After a few years of unrest, Sri Lanka has recovered as one of the countries with growing economies. And Lanka’s economy grows more than 7%. Relying on a stable, long-term support from government, Sri Lanka is ready for the long-term stable economic growth, and it will become the next important business investment destination. Sri Lanka water treatment exhibition 2016 provide a great opportunity for technology and equipment suppliers with new technologies, and at the same time enhancing brand awareness and creating more business links.
Sri Lanka’s economic growth had reached two digit in 2015.And the GDP of Sri Lanka reached 67 billion USD. In the next 5 years, the planned growth rate will up to 8% stable. Sri Lanka’s Gross national product will cross 100 billion USD, and per capita income will over 5000 USD.
In 2010,Sri Lanka government received 100 million USD loan from the Asian Development Bank to repair the sewage treatment system of the Colombo area, and the cabinet also approved the resolution of the project. Sri Lanka’s authorities said that due to the rapid development of the Colombo, the existing city public sewage treatment system has been quite old. It is reported that the whole project will cost 116.3 million USD, and the approval of relevant loan agreement was passed in December last year.
There will be 250 exhibitors from 15 countries in the show 2017.And there will be many delegates from China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and other countries.
‘Sustainable development cast Sri Lanka’s future’ industry summit will focus on the latest developments and innovations in water treatment. The government officials will publish a sustainable energy development program of Sri Lanka on the meeting.
