SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL WATER WEEK :
There is a growing convergence of urban, water and environment issues around the world. Adopting an integrated approach to water resource management, urban planning and environmental management will allow buyers and sellers to leverage shared synergies in cost efficiency, productivity and R&D. For the first time ever, the organizers are proud to present the Expo, a one-stop platform for solutions providers to showcase their businesses to buyers such as mayors, city planners, water and environmental utilities and regulators, industrial park developers etc.
The exhibition present:
Clean / Water Supply
Water scarcity is one of the biggest threats to economic development with more than 780 million people in the world lacking access to clean water.
Presenting innovative solutions in sustainable water supply management, look forward to gleaning the latest in desalination, freshwater management, weather prediction systems, water monitoring and IT systems, and water treatment systems.
By 2030, approximately 60 percent of the world’s population will live in urban areas. Though the world’s cities only occupy a mere 2 percent of the Earth’s land, it is responsible for 60-80 percent of energy consumption and 75 percent of carbon emissions. The Expo will showcase unique integrated urban solutions, studies and best practices, technology and analytics for a sustainable city.
Waste / Waste Management / Waste-To-Energy Solutions
With global waste volumes accelerating in tandem with rapid urbanisation and population growth, governments are urgently seeking cost-effective sustainable solutions. As a leading clean technology hub for the region, The Expo will showcase tailored solutions in waste management expertise, waste-to energy solutions and the latest environmental technologies.
Business Forums
Complementing a rich conference programme line-up with viewpoints from industry leaders, SIWW’s Business Forums foster strong connections within the international water community, giving rise to industry-to-industry networking sessions that develop new approaches to water management and create cross-industry business opportunities.
