Indonesia's economy is huge and has a bright economic growth outlook. With the population of 240 million (in 2011) and still on the growing trend, the market opportunities are enormous. The consumption demand on the livestock products has been increasing. Although the livestock industry is strong, it can still be further improved. It needs technology transfer from upstream to downstream in order to be able to produce locally, not relying too much on imported products. The modernization of livestock industry is to produce hygienic, safe and affordable products to meet domestic needs. Indonesia also needs partnerships to fulfill the supply chain to meet the growing demand. In addition, Indonesia has the ability to educate the public and children on the importance of animal protein intake. It also has the Federation of Indonesian Poultry Society with 14 associations to support and drive the country towards sustainable industry growth.
ILDEX Indonesia is jointly organized by More Exhibition and VNUE AP. "More Exhibition" is the exhibition organizer established by 14 Indonesian Livestock associations together with 4 local agricultural-related media. This strong connection and synergy have driven ILDEX Indonesia's profile and commitments to truly become the unique event "For the Locals, By the Locals".

ILDEX Indonesia 2013 expresses the total support of the local industry. Over 90 Exhibitors (on the total space of 2,000 sq.m. net) are now ready for the first edition of the most comprehensive livestock dedicated event in Indonesia.
The event offers about 50 technical conference slots and workshops (at 12 conference rooms), featuring JAPFA, CP, FAO, GOPAN (Indonesian Poultry Farmer Organization), and many more. Moreover, ILDEX's sister exhibition, VIV Europe also supports the event by putting 'Poultry Master Class' together to add worldwide poultry aspects to ILDEX Indonesia 2013. There are 6 international experts flying in to Indonesia for experience sharing with Indonesian.
