As a sequel to the LIVESTOCK PHILIPPINES 2011, the Bureau of Animal Industry, Department of Agriculture, will once again host LIVESTOCK PHILIPPINES 2013 EXPO AND CONFERENCE, from 7 - 9 August 2013 at the SMX Convention Centre, Pasay City, Metro Manila.
This is the Philippines’ No.1 Trade Event for Livestock Nutrition, Animal Health and Production and Meat Industry. The Event will bring together key decision-makers including integrators, farmers, feed millers, manufacturers and traders of feed ingredients, additives, supplements and premixes, meat and meat products processors, farm equipment fabricators and suppliers, slaughterhouse operators, veterinarians, veterinary drugs and products manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders; while the Expo will provide a platform to showcase state-of-the-art technology, equipment and machineries, deemed to improve production efficiency.
Hence, it is an ideal venue for entrepreneurs to meet, inter-act and network with business leaders, major stakeholders and other industry players. It is also an occasion for Industry Professionals, Livestock and Poultry Producers and Raisers to get updates on issues, trends and challenges confronting the industry supported by the unveiling of field-tested technological advances and breakthroughs. More importantly, it is perceived to provide the appropriate time for business-to-business transactions with new and existing trade partners, to be initiated and consequently finalized.
Themed "Food Security through Feeds Safety," LIVESTOCK PHILIPPINES 2013 shall focus on providing solutions to the continuing challenges faced by the Livestock and Poultry Feeds Manufacturers, Traders of traditional and alternative Feed Ingredients, Additives, Supplements and Pre-mixes, and the Livestock and Poultry Producers and Raisers, in general, which is, to nourish food-animals with safe quality feeds and fulfill the vision of feeding the world with wholesome food of animal origin.
Co-located with the Event is FEEDS PHILIPPINES 2013, an International Animal Feeds and Feed Ingredients, Additives, Supplements and Premixes; Feed Quality Control; and Feeds Manufacturing and Processing Industry Expo and Conference. This concurrent Event shall focus on the impact of Feeds Safety on Livestock and Poultry Productivity and Efficiency.
