Outdoor training
While Anne’s Exhibition is welcoming its six years’ ceremony, all the colleague gathered to Yanxi Lake to have a very special outdoor training. Outdoor training is also known as outward bound. The original meaning is that a little boat drive away from the peaceful port to its unknown future where will be full of challenge. It is first started in England during the World War II. At that time, the Atlantic commerce fleet suffered the German to attack repeatedly, many young seamen were buried the seabed. On account of this bad situation, Kurthahn and others created Gordonstoun School training living ability on the sea and the living skills when the boats strike the reef, which help the seamen to train not only the body but also their will. After the War, people thought this training would be a wonderful one. So they are everywhere now, the participants expand from the seamen to soldiers, students, businessmen and so on. And the training target has changed from living training to psychological training, personality training, management training and so on.
This time, Beijing Ann’s International Exhibitions Co., Ltd’s outdoor training is about teamwork. Although our company is not the international large company, it is a rapidly growing exhibition company, which makes teamwork and communication between colleagues much more important. Our boss always said: “our company is an international exhibition company, and it’s also a service company. All the hardware facilities including hotel, airplane, venue and so on are not belong to us at all. What can make us different from other competitors is our service, and we need to make our service unique and excellent, and remember the client is God. It seems that we have nothing, but we do have the great human resources, powerful teamwork spirit. Everyone should remember you have the exist value! I will never do anything to limit your personality. We respect everyone’s opinion; We never ignore anyone’s feelings. When we are united together, we can be much stronger. This community power you can not even imagine. But if you want this power become bigger and bigger, you need to cooperate with each other, and do you best. The company which can be the top of the industry must be a team working community first. If a company can not cooperate with others, they will eliminate sooner or later. The exhibition industry is a young industry in China. Such a young industry need you, who want to be in a community, and can and will take the responsibility.”
Through this outdoor training, I finally understand the more you learn the more humble you will be. No matter you have already read lots of books or have lots of experience, if you always emphasis your own value, but ignore others nor the community power, even you really do lots of things but there is no value at all.
Guys, please remember, don’t be arrogant. Don’t trust yourself only. When you are cooperate with others, you need to trust the one you are cooperate with! If there are mistakes, do not blame each other, what we need to do is take responsibility and cooperate.
