Beijing Ann’s International Travelogue

      As this traveling is my first time to go outside, I’m looking forward to the date of the traveling. When the day finally came, we were all gathered and waiting for the driver to come and drive us to that wonderful place.
      We were singing and dancing all along the trip, so the two hours’ journey seems so short. When we finally arrive the place I thirsted for so long, we decided to eat some special food there. They are very different from what we eat in Beijing, actually, it is more tradition, more delicious.
      Unfortunately, it was raining there. But this could not bother us, we were just driving for almost an hour to get to one of the great wonders in China. Despite from the noisy and crowd in Beijing, this place seems so fresh. Most important, there is fresh air everywhere. When the guide ask us to choose whether walk there or drive there, we decided to walk to the port in ord to enjoy this fresh air and wonderful view. This view was so beautiful that lots of people just choose the same way we choose, although it is still raining. When we at last walked to the port, we made the decision that we went to our final traveling place by vessel to save the time of our traveling. The reed marshes, the very large green area which could not see in Beijing, made me want to forget everything and just join in those green views.
      The guide told us the origin and the develop of this place: the landform of this place has changed from sea to lake, and from lake to land. As the time goes by, it changed again and again to form this shape. But this place is just a very little place differ from the old ones. 
      As in China, we have a tradition to make a legend of every great wonder. So does this place. Maybe you’ve already heard about our legend of the Goddess Chang's Flying to the Moon, and the legend of this place is on a special day called Mid-autumn day, Sister Change ate some fairy medicine, feeling herself flying and about to leaving the moon. Suddenly, she woke up but dropped her mirror into the earth, and divided into 143 pieces which formed these 143 lakes.
      Now there are only more than 90 lakes left with more than 3700 trenches, 120,000 mu reeds and 36 island villages. The largest size is twenty thousand mu, while the small ones is only less than 100 mu. When our ship were traveling around these lakes, the waves made by speedboat were waving slowly and hit our ship, which made our ship shaking. We also shook with our boat, which makes us more happy. The travelers all felt that they went back to their childhood and forgot the trouble and the noisy world at this moment.

      Then we arrived our hotels whose quality is just so so. But this was never the things we care so much. As soon as we take half an hour rest, we immediately get on the touring bus to visit the park full of lotuses, obviously, in the rain. While the time was not the exact blooming time for lotuses, only a little lotuses opened. But we could still feel the noble of the lotuses. When the soft breeze stirs, the lake slowly ripples. You could see the blue sky, the pink lotuses, the green reeds and the cyan lakes interwove together. How beautiful this view is! 

      Then we came to a park with better quality lotuses. There are not only traditional lotuses there, but also more than 200 famous oversea transgenic lotuses. You can see all colors, such as red, yellow, white, pink, green and so on, and all kinds of lotuses there. Of course, you can also see the view that different kinds of fishes competed tours to flock.

      When we went back to the hotel, the guide asked us to play Mafia game. As the time goes by, I realize why the guide asks us to play this game. Because it shows that we need think different ways. When we need to know someone, what we need is think from his or her face, words, actions and so on.
      After the dinner, we set lanterns on the lake, which is also a traditional event there. We write our wishes on the lanterns, put it in the water, and wishes it could be floated far away from here to our family, to our friends, to our colleagues. With the lanterns we put, the lake seems so wonderful which is so different from the day time.
      When we woke up the second day, we were so happy as the sun rose up early, which makes a very different view from the first day. We played dragon-boat racing: we divided into two groups, and wanted to see which one could first reach the final place. Actually, we do not care about the result, but we do care about this happiness moment with our colleagues. 

      Then we walk into the ship to the next place to see the marriage there. The marriage is also different from other place in China, which makes us laugh and happy the whole time. The last but not least show is the dwarfs performance which is also wonderful. After seeing this, our two days’ journey went to the end. It’s a pity that we only visit two of the six scenic spots there, and I hope we can go there once more to visit the rest spots! After we bought some souvenirs, we went back. During the way back, maybe because our energy is all exhausted by two days wonderful trip, we were all falling asleep. 

      That is the end of our journey, but our life will continues with this journey’s happiness forever.
