Exhibiting in Indonesia 2015

    ILDEX Indonesia is a brand new Show, as a contact people of the Show and the leader for this time, I feel a little nerves. As all we want is every exhibitors has got what they need in the best way. This is the first time I went to Indonesia, but it is said that the best market for livestock in Indonesia is Jakarta, plus the organizer VNU the organizer of VIV, which make me have more confidence. There is also good news that the big local clients in Indonesia join in as well. As we all know. If there is big local clients joining the Show, the visitors will be more.
1.Flight:
    This time, the flight is transferred in Hong Kong. As everyone come from different province and then join in together in Hong Kong. Because it is a long time while we are staying in Hong Kong Airport and it is the lunch time as well, I bought some simple meal for the clients, which is probability good enough, better than Airline Meal. After the lunch, the clients and I waiting in airport lounge, talking and napping. Maybe longer but closer.
2. Hotel:
    This time, we live a hotel which has been Chinese Embassy, so there are many old Chinese Architecture, which makes us feel very cozy and it seems that we never be abroad. The guide said that there is a jackfruit street near our hotel and there is another street selling all kinds of the fruit. But we are worried about the safety in Indonesia and decide not to going just buying some fruit in the hotel or in 7-11 near the hotel. The equipment of the hotel is great. First of all, we need to swipe the card to get into the corresponding floor, which largely increase the safety of the hotel. There is fitness zone in 6th floor. Xiao Jia and I went to there and fit on the treadmill. And then we went to see the people dancing aerobics with so much happiness. We also find Mr. Liu swimming happily. And there is also an bar on the 2nd floor. We have been drinking there. It is a pity that Mr. Zhang missing that time. Otherwise we four can gather together to enjoy the drinking and talking comfortably.

3. Travelling:
    The time we arrive in Jakarta is already the night, so we just eat some dinner and then went to the hotel sleeping. The next day is the move-in day, so we get up late and went to the old city of Jakarta. As Indonesia has been the colony of Netherlands, we can feel the deep Dutch feeling there. We took photo on the Fatahillah Plaza and we found some novel bike near. It is said that the colorful Dutch Cap represents different class. White represent the highest. Others you can guess, hehe.
    While the end of the show is coming, we went to the rich zone in Jakarta. What a wonderful life the riches had in Jakarta! They can drive this side and sails dinghies the other side. We happen to see a TV shot, and the shot is about a girl who won the champing of the local cooking mega game. The dinner is abundant seafood. And the clients and I drinking and eating hairy crab. Sort of experiencing the rich life in Indonesia.

    The journey of the next day seems like a epitome of travelling Indonesia. First of all, we went to Miniature Park, it is said that it needs at last four days to travel all the place in Miniature Park. As we only has few time to travel, we went to the most complete museum. The first shot in our eyes is two figure in stone. The guide said it represents the good and evil. When you are taking picture, you need to remember to take both of the figure to balance the world. When we enter the museum, the first cut is the national emblem of Indonesia. the first we saw is the Condor, and then in the middle of the Condor is coat of arms. The five pictures in the coat of arms represents as follows: Five-pointed star – Belief, Tauren – Sovereignty, Tree – Foundation, Wheat – Prosperous, Chain – Unity. Then we went into Indonesia Culture: the formal dress the every nationalities in Indonesia dresses in their wedding has just showed out. There is also instruments, puppet show, special festival of every nationalities, extremely skillful architecture and so on all showed in this four floors. And then we visit some typical nationalities. The most impressive definitely the anthropophagi: the first two big bochy is living by the men and the small one inside is living by the women and children. If infringed, men must fight. If they fail, they will be eaten and their women and children will be grabbed. How happy we are in this society! 
    Then we went to the Masjid. Our guide told us that this is the biggest Masjid in Asia and third biggest in the world. Because I am wearing very short shirt, I need to wearing the clothes they prepared. And we also need to get off our shoes. The clients all thought I am taking a bath when I am wearing the clothes. It is very big when we finally get into. It can hold lots of people inside and there is more space outside. I dare that it can definitely include more than one hundred thousand people there. The floor is paved a rectangle which can admit one person salah inside. There are even some classes for you to lean some knowledge of Mohammedanism.
    And we also visit the history museum to see different nationalities’ basic information and also the epitome of the magnificent structures. There are most valuable treasures in 4th floor, including Chinese India and so on, it is brought by the people coming into Indonesia. As we travelled around, we can basically understand the whole history and culture of Indonesia.
    Last but not least is the Merdeka National Monument. When the night is coming, the light of the Merdeka National Monument is on, how beautiful it is! It is said that the top is made by pure gold.

4. Exhibition:
    The exhibition is held at PT JI Expo in the Jakarta Indonesia. I have to say that the efficiency is very slowly. We are not going to the venue until two o’clock, there are still so many things are under construction. Good news is our clients are all Walk-on package. Except the power and the trash can, others are already ok. The second day, the exhibitors went in at 9 o’clock and it is said that there is an opening ceremony at ten o’clock, but not until noon, when we finally see cutting the ribbon start. There are lots of visitors gathered to the registration center. Most of the exhibitors is separated, but the guide told us that it would be better. As local visitors wish to see their local enterprise, and then visit other International Booth.

    There are more people in the afternoon than in the morning. Generally, the visitors flow rate is good. Each clients has found the better clients for themselves in their related industrial. On the third day of the Show, most exhibitors begin to search for some proper local clients who exhibit in the Show. Ningbo Maoji get a successful interest. Although their sample has been fined, the sample still get lots of attract from visitors. Even during helping them mind their booth while they visit local exhibitors onsite, I can still see many clients coming and asking. Including the big clients they visit onsite, they must get very successful journey.
 

5. Service and support:
    At this time, we do not have many exhibitors join in the group trip, people become optional. As long as we appoint the most schedule, everything would be fine. Everyone in the group are easy-going: Mr. Zhang, agreeable and a one-year-old-baby daddy, Mr. Liu, like chatting and talking to girlfriend every day, Ms. Jia, seem very young but already has two babies and sleeping with me in one room. Of course, Guide Qiu, very considerate and care for us a lot. After few days’ getting along with each other, we have already become inseparable partner, laughing and talking happily to each other. For sure, I have prepared gift, baggage tag, local phone card and other intimate service. I prepared tray, paper cup, candy and jerky for each booth as well, is it good enough?

Tips:
As the local people use Indonesian as their general language, it is better to employ an interpreter who can speak Chinese, English and Indonesian. How success it will be! Another tip is that you can translate post into Indonesian instead of English, or use more picture than writing, as many of visitors may not know English as well.
Although bringing more exhibits will be fined by Custom, the effect is also good.
The local life in Indonesia is slow, no matter the speed of the move-in or other situation. I think patient is the most important character you should bring into Indonesia.
As I saw in Indonesia, the drivers are very fierce. There is not so many traffic lights, but not so many traffic accident as well. If there is no traffic lights, just gathered together for some people, you can get through.
For diet, local meal is more spicy. Maybe it is better for people who like spicy food. But most of our meals are Chinese meal, taste is good. There is a Northeast Chinese Cuisine which is fit for northerner, clients are all satisfied.
