Agrilivestock Myanmar’14
Another year was coming, as the sole agent of the china pavilion, Beijing Ann’s International Exhibitions Co., Ltd visited Myanmar again. Although this is only the second year of the show, the clients who had been there last year decide to go with us this year as well. This is a kind of evidence to show how wonderful the Myanmar market is. It’s my honor to be the leader of this show. Although I was the first time go to Myanmar, I am very familiar with the organizer before. Hope I can have the opportunity to see them and have a better cooperation.
1. Flight:
As this time most of the clients who join in our group are all around Beijing and the flight is also direct flight from Beijing to Yangon, so we get together in Beijing. This is my first time go aboard, I feel very nervous. And in order to serve better for the clients, I went out early. Before I get into T3 airport terminal, I already call and text the clients to appoint the date and place. When I get there, I try to be familiar with all the situation of the airport. Thanks to Piangy who did many forehead job, how excited I am! The clients gathered at about half past four. We are the first time to meet each other, but not totally stranger. Changing name card, introducing the company products, although some people’s lounge are overloaded, we shared and finally finish all the procedure. When we has passed the custom, we found out that the flight is behind the schedule, so our CEO Ms Annie discussed with the clients and take a dinner together. Although it is expensive and very simple, having a wonderful dinner talk before we went aboard seems so nice, doesn’t it? This is what touched me most. What important about our service is meticulous and caring.
2. Hotel:
This year’s hotel we choose just as the same Five-star Hotel as last year. It is a little far from the venue, but maybe it is my first time to be a leader, I think the condition is very good with free WIFI and wonderful hall. It is said that last year you even need to open with the key, but this year after fitment they all change into room card and wonderful carpet. You can see the wonderful YinYa Lake, and the view is really wonderful. And so was the breakfast, besides great Western-style Food, you can also have Hong Kong’s noodles, rice stick, Japanese sushi, miso soup, and Chinese congee, Deep-fried stick, with also the traditional wonderful food as well. There is a small bar in the hotel with three beautiful young ladies singing sweet song. The night when the Show finished, our group including Liyang Zhongtian’s general manager Mr. Lv and Mr Tang sitting there drinking and talking. We talking about the market and also the country we will go together in future.
3. Touring:
Our team went to Yangon at 00:00 on 9th December. Although it is very late, we are feel not so tired. After we went out the custom, we see our beautiful guide A Xiang. It is already late so we just appoint the time and went back to sleep. It is move-in date on 9th, as the building speed is very slow in Myanmar, we decide to tour that morning and go the exhibiting venue that afternoon. The first thing is changing money and buys some traditional food and present to give to the family and friends. And then, we went to eat the local Thailand food, but it seems that we are not suitable for that kind of food full of spicy and sour. The handsome guy in Baolingbao still feels hungry. I told our guide A Xiang that if we went to Myanmar again, we wish to eat suitable Chinese food because of the difference between countries. For the following days, we all feel very great about our dinner time with the better and better food. When talking about Myanmar, the first thing in mind is diamond and wood, and the following days, our manager Ms Annie accompany with the clients to buy the things they want. And her bargaining ability is so wonderful that one of our clients Mr Lin thumbs up. And Ms Annie also helps him to buy a wonderful gift for his wife.
After move-out is finished, as the time is early, we decided to go to the Karaweik Palace which you can see the different atmosphere of Myanmar and Thailand earlier to see the wonderful view of the Royal Lake. And wait for the opening ceremony of Palace. The view is so beautiful that the sunset slowly drop down to reflect the wonderful view of the whole Royal Lake, and to see the Shwedgon Agoda which is still glittering far away. While waiting the opening ceremony the two handsome guys from Liyang Zhongtian are also coming here by taxi. As we have been together during these three days and they joined our exhibitions and our guide group for many times, and believe our service so much that makes them join us and expect the following all kinds of program. And they never feel disappoint. That night, we eating food, drinking beer and seeing the performance, which makes us feel simple and pure happiness. At last, we get on the stage to take a wonderful group photo. We still feel not enough, so when we went back to our hotel, the two handsome guys of Liyang Zhongtian, who do not live in the same hotel with us, joined us to seat in the bar eating and drinking, but we still feel the time flies, so we decide to get together the next day.
The second day’s journey is visiting all kinds of Buddha, which can also call as a psychogenesis travelling. We can only respect and worship. We visit the Hanbaiyu Buddha, White Elephant Park, Chaukhtatgyi Paya, Centre Park, and then we went to tour the whole Chinatown and finally went to the wonderful Shwedagon Pagoda which we can see everywhere from the first day we get on the land of Yangon. It is located in the Yangon, the capital of the Myanmar, the visitors are often shocked by glittering. Because it is located on the highest part of Yangon, it can be seen everywhere in Yangon. It is the holy of the holies in Yangon. When you saw far away, you may think it is just a tower, but when you get in, you will be shocked. And you will see a grandiose big tower with dozens of glittering little tower. How pompousness it is! There is also 76 karat diamond and jewelry the local people consecrate on the top of the tower where we cannot get into. After we cycled around, we decide to wait till the evening to see the night scene. When the evening light is open, we are all convulsed. Although the photo we take cannot even compare ten percent of the view, it is still beautiful as the picture. Hope I can have another chance to revisit this beautiful view next year!
4. Expo:
This time’s show is held in the Tatmadaw Exhibition Hall. On the exhibition spot, what surprises me most is Cangzhou Tianyu’s booth. They have been prepared sufficiently. That’s the time I know the reason why their luggage is overloaded. They have brought all kinds of samples, and each of the sample has the note on them. And they also has cute brochures with little big, cow, chicken, sheep and so on, and they even rent some plants and furniture which makes their booth so beautiful! The most important thing is that before they come, they asked their local translator to translate their feed additives into Burmese version. All of these efforts are not waste of time or money, for what I can see, during the three days of the show, there are always people around there,which I know the most about an endless storm. Huanan also employ a Chinese-English-Burmese translator, the value seems greater. There are not so many people around Baolingbao’s booth, but they have some business affair with the exhibitor. How bright they are!
What I need to mention most is that Shanghai CCPIT corporate with us and bring four Shanghai local exhibitors join in this exhibition. And during the three days exhibition, Wuxi Zhengda visit local clients every day, win a wonderful result. Ms Annie is the second time join in the show. When negotiating with the big clients like Huanan, Bulher and Zhengchang, they said if you wish to get into Myanmar market, the first choice is to join this show.
5. service and support:
this trip I feel lots of pressure and thankful because of our general manager Ms Annie. As a new here, I need lots of practice and support during my growing up. Every member in this group are friendly to me, humorous president Jia, President Wang who likes to take photos, Xia who eat totally opposite against me( that is why she is so thin, is that?), Mr. Lin with a bright business mind, president Lv who likes talking all the time and vivacious and handsome Mr. Tang. There is few people in our group, but we feel so happy during the whole trip. Every time in the car, we can hear the joke of president Jia, and the introduce of the Burmese great wonders. Finally, the clients are satisfied about my service, which seems a little boast right? I also prepare some gift for the clients, such as the slipper on the flight, local SIM Card and so on. We create a Wechat group called Myanmar group winning the whole world. It is very strong name, isn’t it?
Tips:
1. As most of the local people still use the Burmese. And most of the people do not have a chance to learn higher education. So it is better to employ an Chinese-English-Burmese translator, which will help you a lot. Local people loves colorful decoration, so it is better you notice the decoration of the booth as well.
2. According to the exhibit in Myanmar, I wish to remind you that the most important thing is to prepare the invitation work before the exhibition, which will highly improve your exhibiting value. If the volume of the exhibit is too large, it is better to use a sample or projector to give the clients a visual effect, which will be a bright spot. Local people likes to use USD and it also can exchange the Kyat, but remember you need to use eighty percent new USD to change the Kyat.
3. Car is the primary transport in Myanmar. The bus is also ragged, and most of them even with no glasses. When the rush hour is coming, it become the traffic jam. Just like in Beijing. The taxi in Myanmar do not have taximeter, it is better that you negotiate with the price before get into taxi.
4. The taste of Myanmar is light, maybe the northern clients don’t like that. Our advice is to eat some pepper and garlic when you first arrive into Myanmar. You better not to eat the food of roadside market.
